Hectic

Hectic is the only word that I can describe poly life. I never been such a no-life before in the past 19 years. I stood home saturday and sunday, using the time fully to do my projects(mostly art). I really regretted choosing Multimedia and Animation. I have mostly art modules and only one programming module. From my point of view, I think that art is really troublesome and a waste of money. Some people will not agree to it and claim because it is art and that's why it is worth it. Well,I guess not to me. Firstly, I have zero interest in sketching and painting fruits and buildings. Secondly, I am a poor student. I can't even afford my bus and food fare, how the hell am I suppose to afford ART FARE! Lastly, you might think that why don't I get my parents to pay for it since I'm studying. Let me just say that I'm on financial assistance. I seriously suggest that government subsidies on art material since they are so expensive! Or better yet, provide art materials sponsorship to all those who are under the financial assistance scheme only if their course require them to do art like mine. It would be great if they can do so.

 Within these few weeks, I already did so much art work that I couldn't remember. Let me show you some art work I've done!

A poster I used my whole night doing. Damn this module. I really hope time will fly like a G6 for this module. A suffering module in terms of time and money for me. 

After a week of inhuman school life, my awesome weekends arrived. Coincidentally I saw my baby girl with her sister at clementi then we chatted awhile and had some beancurd while camwhoring abit.

I would have put some makeup if I knew I was going to see someone I know. Look at my horrible tired face without makeup! Then here comes my lonely stay home saturday. I originally thought I wouldn't meet my love on saturday because he has to build sandcastle in tekong for 2 to 3 weeks before coming home! But... he called me and made me wake up to go meet him at 8 plus in the morning. I was so tired but was really happy and excited to meet him. I didn't take any photo with him because he hates taking photo. Basically I just spent the whole entire day slacking at his house. It was great because I was too lazy and tired to go out. I just wanna lay everywhere and drag myself here and there around the house.

It is always saddening to see him book in. What to do! This is life. This morning he went and book in to tekong. As a good girlfriend, I sent him all the way to pasir ris. Then decided to meet Radin to buy my formal heels. Yes! BUY AGAIN! See the amount of money I'm wasting. Meet her awhile at far east and got my heels. One for 9.90, another for 26. Money goooonnnneee. Tried the new Thai food stall at basement. It was way better than sakura according to my babe! As we about to leave because Radin need go off early, we saw this newly opened crepe stall. Awesome shit! It was delicious! 

The funniest part is when we are leaving the mall, a young man walking towards us said "wa so big, can eat finish anot?" in hokkien and he tried to bite it while walking pass and his friends all laughed at his silly action. It was a tasty treat to resist I guess. It was a fun day out after a month a lifeless school life. I miss my old life where I can go out on weekends without worrying about any shit. 

Today is sunday and tomorrow will be monday. It will be a tough week I guess. Although tomorrow morning I have no class, I have a project survey to pass up on tuesday. A formal presentation about confident professional which I haven't yet figure out a shit on wednesday. Group script writing on thursday and sketch work about retro style captain america on friday. I need to complete all of them this week. Damn.

Last Tuesday

  

Hellooooo guys!

That was my face during last tuesday after work. There is only one word to describe that face which is SHAG! I wanted to blog about it but was too tired. Got home, bathed and slept until the next day 5pm plus. I must be a pig! Finally I end my work. It was tiring working as retail assistant and my advice is if you are someone who gets bored easily, retail jobs are no-no to you! I barely survived 3 weeks of retail. I really need to get a new job. 

And guess what! I received my poly application results on that same day. Most of the choice I chose was mostly got to do with animation. The reason why is because I don't like coding and I am weak in that. I was really happy with my ITE results though. And my results were I was offered 3 years in Multimedia and Animation at Ngee Ann Poly which is my first choice! I am really glad to know my results. 

Actually I had my route already planned out long before I got my results last tuesday. Going to poly was my plan A and if plan A were to fail, there is plan B. Plan B was to take higher nitec in paramedic and emergency care, provided if i can apply. That course is a 1 and a half year course then after that I can pretty much start working. Sounds really attractive doesn't it? Healthcare is needed in every part of the world and further more, it is a government job meaning awesome bonus every year. Comparing this with jobs in private company, bonus won't be as much unless your company as much as Apple does every year. So my plan B was to get into a course that I could easily get a government job and earn money to keep me alive. If this plan fail, I have plan C which is to take higher nitec in film-making. But now I can throw all my plan aside cause I got my first choice.  

Just this morning I went to get my enrollment package and trust me, I am pissed. People who were distributing our enrollment pack didn't help in our enquires. I had to ask my old friends for help. Comparing this with ITE enrollment, ITE enrollment was best. No financial assistance booth, no people explain what we need to submit, not enough people, no people to explain what we need to do, nothing. Just someone telling us take queue number, another telling us to to pay money at the axs machine and remember to email receipt before handing us the package, another one telling me to take color blindness test and that's all. Oh wait and one more! My mistake, they have a enrollment enquires booth and when I asked him questions about financial help, he was too tired to reply me and told me to go check online, everything is online. Seriously. -_- There is only one word to describe : HORRIBLE! And one more thing, there is no sign boards to bring us to the location to collect our enrollment package. Hello! How are we suppose to know where to go. It is like my first time lei! I searched and asked around for directions like hell man. Going round and round like a stupid dumbass. I just hope I made a right choice going poly. What a bad impression.
