Holiday

It's already midnight and I just came back from a short jogging to burn some fats of mine. I couldn't sleep so I thought of listing down what happened so far. Well, my holiday started since the end of last month and I had been doing nothing since then. I didn't work because it's holiday as I am just pure lazy and furthermore they don't need much people. However, I did enjoy staying home because I get to catch up with all the drama I missed which feels so good. 

I stood home and watch Korean dramas and they were great! Here are some of my recommendations..

High School King Of Savvy

Lee Min-seok is a high school student and varsity ice hockey player. He and his older brother Hyung-seok look very much alike, despite their nine-year age gap. When he gets a mysterious phone call from Hyung-seok telling him to impersonate his brother at the latter's new job, Min-seok is forced to pretend to be a high-ranking executive at an IT conglomerate. Living a double life while unaware of the rules within the Korean workplace, Min-seok learns how to navigate his way in the world of adults with the help of Jung Soo-young, a temp with an odd personality whom he eventually falls in love with.

My Comments : This is the very first Korean drama to get me started after a long time. It was great! Seo In Guk is just so cute to watch! Really interesting to see him jumping back and forth with school life and  working life.


Trot Lovers

A girl's journey to become a successful singer in the old-fashioned musical genre trot, with the help of a songwriter and music producer who detests trot.

My Comments : I fell in love with Korean trot music after watching this drama. I love all the song sang in the drama and also it's OST. I recommend listen to " Remember Me" in the OST. It's a must-hear music.


Faith

After King Gongmin of Goryeo marries the Yuan princess Noguk, they return to Goryeo. On the way they are attacked and the queen is fatally injured. According to the advice of his soothsayers, the king orders royal bodyguard Choi Young to pass through a mystical portal ("heaven's gate") and find "heaven's doctor." Choi Young travels to the future and brings back Yoo Eun-soo, a modern-day doctor from Seoul, who saves the queen's life. He makes a promise that he will return her to her world...

My Comments : This is awesome as I always love time travel storyline. Watch this and this drama will not fail you. Plus, who can say no to Lee Min Ho?


Queen In-hyun's Man

Year 1694, Joseon Dynasty: Kim Bung-do (Ji Hyun-woo) is a noble-born scholar and his family's sole survivor after they were massacred in a conspiracy. Kim Bung-do supports the reinstatement of Queen In-hyun, who was deposed due to scheming by royal concubine Lady Jang. Year 2012, modern-day Seoul: Choi Hae-jin (Yoo In-na), an unsuccessful actress, lands her big break when she is cast as Queen In-hyun in the television drama "New Jang Heebin". Due to a mysterious talisman, Kim Bung-do time-travels to 2012, where he crosses paths with Choi Hae-jin and falls in love.

My Comments : After watching Faith, I started looking for time travel drama and Queen In Hyun's Man was one of them. I am in love with Yoo In Na! She is so pretty and those drama she act in is always awesome!


My Love from the Star

 An alien who landed on Earth in the Joseon Dynasty and, 400 years later, falls in love with a top actress in the modern era.

My comments : What can I say? This is like the most popular drama so far! Walk out of the house and ask anyone and they can tell you how much they are in love with the alien Do Min Joon(Kim So Hyun).

Fated to Love You 

 A spoiled and arrogant chaebol heir and a meek "post-it" girl are forced to marry after their one-night stand results in an unexpected pregnancy.

My Comments : I never really like the Taiwanese version but I love this version. Jang Na Ra and Jang Hyuk are great actor! Tear-jerking drama. Be prepared to cry your heart out!


Successful Story of a Bright Girl 

Cha Yang-soon is a simple girl living in the countryside with her grandmother. She spends most of her time dreaming of someday meeting her Prince Charming; in her fantasy, she saves him from harm with her martial arts skills, and they live happily ever after. Han Gi-tae is the spoiled and arrogant president of a successful makeup company, Snowy Cosmetics. While in the country on business, Gi-tae goes parachuting and accidentally falls straight into Yang-soon's outdoor bathtub while she's taking a bath, and it's hate at first sight for the two.

My Comments : I know it is a really old drama but I just wanted to see how Jang Hyuk and Jang Na Ra looked in the past. Not bad. I like it! It's really amazing to see that she did not age at all.


Bride Of The Century

Taeyang Group is the largest conglomerate in South Korea. The Choi family who runs Taeyang has supposedly been under a curse for a hundred years that the first bride of the eldest son will always die. When the wealthy heiress Jang Yi-kyung disappears right before her wedding to chaebol heir Choi Kang-joo, Na Doo-rim, a lookalike impostor, is brought in to take her place. But unlike the cold and calculating Yi-kyung, Doo-rim is sweet and sunny, and Kang-joo falls genuinely in love with her. As the wedding plans progress, Kang-joo and Yi-kyung's mothers both scheme and plot behind the scenes


My Comments : Feels like High School King Of Savvy and a little of Stairways To Heaven but in a more exciting way. Besides, Lee Hong Ki is just adorable to look at!

Also, I've been watching High School Love On but because of the Asian games or whatever event in Korean, the airing has been dragging and it's really irritating! I want to watch the next episode so much!!!

16 June!

Last year on the 16 June, I got together with my boy Ruyun and now a year had already pass! Happy Anniversary my boy! It was just like a blink of an eye and what I did for our anniversary? Nothing. We just meet up and catch a movie that's all. We are both boring people, what to do?! But still I am very happy that he made the effort to come and meet me although he was in camp. I love you boy! 

Exam's over! Holiday arrived together with assignment. Sad. Assignment are annoying during holidays. Let me show you one of my artistic exam in boat quay. It was really burning hot that day! I almost die.

This was so hard to draw. I wasted so long to draw this. Hope it will turn out well. Here are some photo for us celebrating Naz birthday.

There is something I have to say, I just feel like everyone is dating and together for the sake of being together. I don't see real love anymore which is sad. There are many bad boys out there who don't care about us girls feelings. They only need you now, if they are tired of you, they dump you and find someone else more interesting. Some might say that you know but why are you guys throwing your heart and soul into them. I truly hate guys that are like that because they just show how immature they are. True man love you for who you are. They make you feel good about yourself and respects you. Don't rush into a relationship cause you are lonely and all. Wait for someone that is worthy of you to appear. The one that will love you even you think you are ugly but he thinks you're beautiful. And when he says you're beautiful, he mean it. And one last thing, ladies, we don't hunt for men, men hunt for us. So sit back and relax.

Hectic

Hectic is the only word that I can describe poly life. I never been such a no-life before in the past 19 years. I stood home saturday and sunday, using the time fully to do my projects(mostly art). I really regretted choosing Multimedia and Animation. I have mostly art modules and only one programming module. From my point of view, I think that art is really troublesome and a waste of money. Some people will not agree to it and claim because it is art and that's why it is worth it. Well,I guess not to me. Firstly, I have zero interest in sketching and painting fruits and buildings. Secondly, I am a poor student. I can't even afford my bus and food fare, how the hell am I suppose to afford ART FARE! Lastly, you might think that why don't I get my parents to pay for it since I'm studying. Let me just say that I'm on financial assistance. I seriously suggest that government subsidies on art material since they are so expensive! Or better yet, provide art materials sponsorship to all those who are under the financial assistance scheme only if their course require them to do art like mine. It would be great if they can do so.

 Within these few weeks, I already did so much art work that I couldn't remember. Let me show you some art work I've done!

Better right?!

A poster I used my whole night doing. Damn this module. I really hope time will fly like a G6 for this module. A suffering module in terms of time and money for me. 

After a week of inhuman school life, my awesome weekends arrived. Coincidentally I saw my baby girl with her sister at clementi then we chatted awhile and had some beancurd while camwhoring abit.

I would have put some makeup if I knew I was going to see someone I know. Look at my horrible tired face without makeup! Then here comes my lonely stay home saturday. I originally thought I wouldn't meet my love on saturday because he has to build sandcastle in tekong for 2 to 3 weeks before coming home! But... he called me and made me wake up to go meet him at 8 plus in the morning. I was so tired but was really happy and excited to meet him. I didn't take any photo with him because he hates taking photo. Basically I just spent the whole entire day slacking at his house. It was great because I was too lazy and tired to go out. I just wanna lay everywhere and drag myself here and there around the house.

It is always saddening to see him book in. What to do! This is life. This morning he went and book in to tekong. As a good girlfriend, I sent him all the way to pasir ris. Then decided to meet Radin to buy my formal heels. Yes! BUY AGAIN! See the amount of money I'm wasting. Meet her awhile at far east and got my heels. One for 9.90, another for 26. Money goooonnnneee. Tried the new Thai food stall at basement. It was way better than sakura according to my babe! As we about to leave because Radin need go off early, we saw this newly opened crepe stall. Awesome shit! It was delicious! 

The funniest part is when we are leaving the mall, a young man walking towards us said "wa so big, can eat finish anot?" in hokkien and he tried to bite it while walking pass and his friends all laughed at his silly action. It was a tasty treat to resist I guess. It was a fun day out after a month a lifeless school life. I miss my old life where I can go out on weekends without worrying about any shit. 

Today is sunday and tomorrow will be monday. It will be a tough week I guess. Although tomorrow morning I have no class, I have a project survey to pass up on tuesday. A formal presentation about confident professional which I haven't yet figure out a shit on wednesday. Group script writing on thursday and sketch work about retro style captain america on friday. I need to complete all of them this week. Damn.

Past 3 week

Aloha people! Time really flies when you are busy. Unknowingly, it is already the end of 3rd week of school and homework had never stopped since day one. Life in poly is really different from the awesome life in ITE. In ITE, everything is spoon fed to you while in poly, they just throw you there alone to survive. It is really hard coping at first but now I am slowly getting used to it. Weekends past by fast but weekdays past even faster. Money is an important factor in poly and it has always been a problem for me ever since I was born. I really need to get a job real soon but I don't have the time to work. My timetable and homework is just crazy. I really can't wait for my holiday to arrive.

Here are some of my drawing in class. They aren't really good drawing as you can tell but compare to day one's drawing, you sure can see the difference. I didn't take photo of the one I drew in day one so you can't really tell. It is quite saddening because everyone in my class were smart asses who pass their o's with flying colours. They are incredibly fast at learning things that made me feel stupid sometimes. However, it is okay because I won't be competing with them but myself. It is me that I have to win. That way I will be happier even if I were to fail because I know what I am doing. 

School was not exactly great but life was good. Made a few friends and dislike one because she sabotage my friend on second day of school due to her immature actions. 

Last week Priscilla sent me this photo! We looked so cute but Ruyun say I looked like auntie. I guess I look a little like auntie but I still look cute alright!
